A man shot 70 people, killing 12 and injuring 58, at the premier of the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, in AURORA, Colorado, USA, on July 20th 2012.
The man responsible for the shooting was later identified as James Eagan Holmes. He allegedly walked up to the moviegoers waiting in line and threw a smoke bomb, and then started shooting.
As many people where happy about going to watch the batman movie, another was planning his own rendition of the movie in real life. The guy later handed himself over to the police.
What set him off is only something that he knows, or does he hate the Batman movies so much so that he would kill those that like the movies? After this incident security at the movie theatre in AURORA, was tightened up.
Christian Bale went to visit some of the victims of the shooting; he was spotted in a photo taken by one of the people injured in the shooting. It’s a good thing that Christian Bale did, but he should have went to visit the people injured in the shooting as Batman, just to show the victims that even Batman cares, this would have been more for the fans than anything else.
True to that. But i think we all have our own ways of thinking and maybe he prefered to visit the family of the vitims of the shooting. Bad man is a great movie but if makes people to be out of line, I think it will be best if they can stop producing more movies of it.
ReplyDeleteThis is scary, for real i can imagine the truama. This family deserve better things not all of this.
ReplyDeleteBut what mkes interesting is that even Morgan Freeman was there as well, making sure to take time to speak to the children in the crowd of excited Batfans.
ReplyDelete@Edwin.Christian Bale went to visit some of the victims of the shooting, I think that a visit means nothing to the victims or families of the victims who are affected by this incident. What does a visit achieve when lives are lost?. I am appalled at the idea that a mere visit can make victims or those affected feel better. The state should ensure that such a criminal does not get another opportunity to play the joker
ReplyDeleteThe guy is a jerk nd he deserve 2 rot in jail. The thought that Christian visited the families of the victims should count. He is just a character nd not a superhero in real life. Its not his fault
